Harry Rabinowitz
Production Musical Director
Harry Rabinowitz has previously worked with Andrew Lloyd Webber on the very successful Tell Me On A Sunday both on its presentation at the Royalty Theatre and the subsequent televised BBC show as well as numerous recording sessions. He was the Music Director to Light Entertainment at BBC Television in the 60’s and in the 70’s was Head of Music at London Weekend Television. In recent years Harry has been freelancing and his latest works include conducting for the films Flic ou Voyou, La Mort en Direct, Golden Girl, Alain Resnais’ prize winning Mon Oncle d’Amerique and 1981 Royal Command Film Chariots of Fire. He has also conducted on BBC Radio the series Magic of the Musicals and several Friday Night is Music Night programmes as well as Gala Nights featuring the music of Alain Jay Lerner and songs associated with Marie Lloyd. Recent television contributions include The Jim Davidson Show (Thames), Remember Jack Buchanan? (STV), and he conducted the London Symphony Orchestra at the Albert Hall for the first Classic Rock concert. As a composer Harry’s most recent credits include the themes for the television series Love for Lydia, Thomas and Sarah, The London Programme and Under Manning.
