Helen Walsh

Since graduating from the University of Southern Queensland, majoring in voice, Helen has toured Australia and overseas with many productions including South Pacific (understudying and performing the role of Nellie Forbush) and Hello Dolly (playing the delightful role of Minnie Faye) for the Gordon Frost Organisation, and the 1 Oth Anniversary and Asian/South Af dcan tours of Les Mis6rables (understudying and performing the roles of Eponine and Cosette) for the Cameron Mackintosh Organisation. Other theatre credits include: The Desert Song, Gilbert and Sullivan A La Carte, Little Shop of Horrors, Dames at Sea, Side by Side by Sondheim and Into the Woods (as Red Riding Hood). She also performed in Kiss Me Kate for the 1998 Brisbane Energex Festival in the role of Bianca, alongside Yvonne Kenny, and the world premiere production of The Sunshine Club for the Queensland Theatre Company. Recently she performed her own one-woman cabaret, Once Upon a Diva. She has also been a vocalist with the Queensland Symphony and Pops Orchestras and harmony group, Vocalpoint. While rehearsing for Cats, Helen performed the role of Tina Denmark in the Australian premiere of Ruthless. Cats marks Helen's debut with Really Useful Productions.
